Project Matching
One of the primary roles of the TICOS service is to match its service users to projects that are meaningful to their business operations and the locations in which they operate.
We offer ready made projects for funding but can also create bespoke projects for our users that have a specific set of requirements. Once you have signed up as a Service User, we send you a 'project match' form where we ask you to detail the types and locations of projects that you would like to fund. This form also sets out our terms and conditions for project offers.
Depending on the income generated you can full or part fund a project. For part funding, this may mean that you share the project with another TICOS Service User. Each project has its own specific client account into which the funds are paid to ensure that money is ring-fenced for that particular project. One of our project criteria is that the project could not go ahead unless funding is received from TICOS.
To view in more detail the process that TICOS uses to match its service users to projects and how income is transferred, please download our 'TICOS Service Users Steps' diagram (pdf file).
Once funding has been received, we monitor the project progress on your behalf and place regular updates on the project pages of our website, so your clients can see how the offset money raised is being spent.
